ZONE 1(Kellogg Park)
The southernmost service area. This location is closest to Kellogg Park, a grassy park with a playground, restrooms, and showers. This is a swim-only section, and there is no Surfing allowed. Also, just a short stroll to the shops and restaurants on Avenida De La Playa. Typically the most crowded Zone.
ZONE 2 (Lifeguard Station)
This location is directly in front of the main parking lot and Lifeguard station. This is a Surfing only area until 11 am and then becomes swimming only. Bathrooms and showers are still convenient. Typically the most crowded Zone.
ZONE 3 (Volley Ball Courts)
This location is directly in front of La Jolla Shores Park. There are 2 first come/first serve volleyball courts toward the north end of this Zone and restrooms and Showers at the south end of this Zone. This is a Surfing only area as well. While this Zone can still become crowded, it is less so than Zones 1 and 2.
ZONE 4 (Houses)
This location is furthest from amenities and tends to be less crowded than Zones 1,2&3. Surfing only area of the beach. Surf Diva Surf School sets up at the south end of this Zone in case you are interested in taking a surf lesson. All Day Beach set-up and Concierge Service for this Zone goes as far as the Fifth House.
